  • Holiday days towards SED

Anyone know if there is a set limit to the number of days you spend out the country on holiday that go towards SED?

Heard some people say it's at the discretion of the tax man. Others say you can only use 4 weeks some say 6 weeks.

    what is the truth.

I was not aware there was a restriction... although I've never had to use it.

I have never heard of any restriction, but the best thing is to contact the marine tax office in Cardiff and ask them.

No limit, provided you remain an EEA resident. i.e. your "holiday" is not actually you living abroad, outside the EEA.
