    I'd work on one as a shoppy in the tax free drinks shop, that could be a fun 9 months, lots of time to go ashore etc. Would look a bit odd in my discharge book though.

      I guess I got so Jaded after 11 years on the big ones I struggle to be objective about them anymore! - but I would not mind a couple of months as a comedy bar pianist, provided I had an unlimited drinks tab.
      Cruise ship Captain with experience on-board Passenger Vessels ranging from 5500-150000 GRT.

        I got to play the 'piano bar' piano for a few minutes while it was quiet, I'm no good at singing though.

          Im with you HolyNougat, in fact jaded would be an understatement after nearly 13 years! I went from Cargo to cruise and my first 15 contracts I swore would be my last, but would always suggest people try it, it's not for everyone though and even reading some comments on here I think that some people don't really understand it (I don't mean that in a nasty way BTW)
