Seatime for master

Hi does anyone knows the actual & total seatime requirement for masters unlimited, as I have 42 months as oow 11/1 & 12 months after chief mates unlimited 11/2 So total 54 months which is more than 36 months as per Ming 92. So bit confused
pls suggest.

The seatime essentially resets after each certificate, iirc it's 18 months from passing the Chief Mate exam then you become eligible.

However, just because you have the ticket you won't automatically be hired by anyone as a Master. Normally, most companies will take you as a Chief Mate and you'll work "understudying" the Master for a certain length of time and depending on how well you perform will then determine whether you will be promoted to Master or not.
