Shore based job opportunities

I'm considering pursuing employment shore side. But im a little confused where to start, who to apply to and what kind of jobs I would be considered for?

My experience is a year sailing in rank on cruise ships however I would prefer shore side employment with good prospects within the maritime industry.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I managed to slot in to a Project Management position monitoring new builds, lots of transferrable skills from a Deck Officer with regards to Decision Making, Time Keeping, Effective Comms, Maintaining a schedule etc.

That's quite interesting haven't heard of too many shore based opportunities... Something in considering in the future... Might be cheeky to ask but it's all anonymous anyway what kind of package are they offering for such a shore side position ?
