What a brilliant idea Midge! I sailed with the OYT when I was a teenager and had a brilliant time. Anyone with some time to kill or needing something to give their CV that edge should definitely apply for this!

As you know TH have yacht bursaries, in addition to MN cadetships and have connections with ASTO, sea cadets too.
I know OYT value MN officers and cadets help and volunteering. Engineering skills always a bonus for them.
Just thought if people are hanging around doing nothing, live close and have a bit of time or are on a gap and need accommodation and food it maybe useful.
