Apologies if this isn't appropriate here but while bored at sea I decided to write an android app that calculates if you qualify for tax relief or not.


The problem is I've never claimed tax before (only been at sea since September last year) so I'd really appreciate any suggestions on what you guys would want to see in it.


I currently have it set so it figures it out for one year but maybe you guys claim for multiple years in one go? These are the things I'm unsure of and feedback would be great

It looks promising, although not for the iPhone!

Maybe an option to export to pdf. Handy when sending it to the Tax people.

I don't have a mac or Iphone so not planning on making one anytime soon! Also apple are terrible etc etc lol

The sheeple that good for apple goods are the ones that get brainwashed easily, it is as though apple fanboys are in some kind of cult. Apple is just "style" over substance.

If you want the best cost-to-performance ratio then HTC, Samsung etc... have far better products on the table.

There already is a similar app to the one you've made it is SeafaeresCalc (costs ?2.50)
