Hello sailors,
I'm from Split Croatia.Huge fan of sea sealing and all regarding maritime business
I'm electro technician with exp. in shipyards-assembling electronic components into Stena tankers build in Split's shipyard.
Latter on I go with the flow,got my skipper licence worked at east Adriatic Sea (most beautiful sailing spot on this small planet )

Now I'm in active search for assistant electrician position on board-time for upgrade from 50 ft yacht
Got BASIC TRAINING,ADVANCE FIREFIGHTING,MEDICAL+seamans book etc.

So have you done/are you doing a formal cadetship or are you only planning on working on small yachts? Any vessel that takes over 12 passengers counts as part of the merchant fleet, and I believe (though by no means am 100% on this) that ETOs are all now required to have an ETO CoC (Someone who knows more about ETO requirements will be along shortly I'm sure), so you may find it difficult to find a job as you are.

Well aware of that.
I'm looking for first contract aka cadetship,or on some cruise company you can go as 3ETO without cadetship.

In intro I mention yacht and sailing as part of my hobby not as relevant to ETO (assistant) position,even do you can learn a thing or two there as well.
