    Hi, my name is Kalvis, and im from Latvia! In a couple of weeks i will finish my able seamen course and i need to search for practice on ship to get my diploma, after that i need 12 years experience in sea and then i can go to learn for officer :] thats my story

    I guess you mean 12 months. Carnival UK employs Latvian officers, though from memory their able seaman are from Pakistan.

      There is national line in Latvia, failing that, BGI or the likes should be able to help you...
      I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....
