  • Hello all!

Hi to everyone, I am in year 11 at an international school in Spain, I am British and have lived in Spain for 6 years. I am an aspiring deck cadet hoping to find a sponsor to start a HND course in September 2014. I am hoping (like many others) to find a placement with a cruise company but would be happy just to find sponsorship with with any decent shipping company. My first preference would be to go to Warshash College if possible and will be attending the open day there in January. I will be sitting my iGCSEs in May and expect to pass 9 at C grade and above with predicted A or B grades in Maths, English and Science (Combined double award). I can see there is very stiff competition out there for places and wondered if it is advisable to carry on and take A Levels and apply for a foundation degree cadet placement in another two years? I am really keen to get started and would prefer to get stuck into it next year (Not sure whether I should post this question somewhere else)
