how colour blind? Engineers can be colour blind but have a "No Cable Work" restriction on the ENG1......Trust me I'm a Chief.

OK, not sure how your cadetships work, but if you are colour blind or think you are I would contact your colleges and find out what they have to say, and what tests they need you to do.
In the UK the ENG1 (medical) has a test, but depending on a few things it is still possible to come to sea, not sure on the rules where you areTrust me I'm a Chief.
