    Hi George

Welcome and I have just seen your other thread, I was cruise for over 12 years (and did a load of RYA stuff prior to starting my 4 year cadetship with Trinity House) so feel free to PM me with any questions.

    Cheers

        Welcome George,

Pull up a chair and sit down and a fireworks show will begin soon, especially as S4R has just returned and will read everything she has missed and hand out some arse kickings no doubt.

Does blood wash out of that shirt? No? Well I'd move back a couple of rows if I were you......

I am just up the road from you in rural Leicestershire. Which has the claim to fame of being the place furthest from the sea in the UK! A great place to start a seafaring career from!

Chiefy - got room in a secret store down in the E R I can hide in?

Who told 'er where I was? I'll bet it was that snitch Guinnessman - he is just trying to divert the attention away from me....

No I do not report things from here to them as they are quite able to come and read this stuff for themselves.

My engine room experience is limited to a week of cleaning fuel oil purifiers and sounding tanks, plus I don't like the hot and smelly bits - so tea wallah in the AC of the Control room will do nicely thank you. Milk and sugar with that?

Someone pass me a cloth and a tin of polish - it is so dirty in here.... I can't see out of the windows......
