  • Hey guys need a little help!

New to the forum, aspiring deck cadet.

I've got an interview with Chiltern Maritime on Wednesday 3rd July, has anybody got any good interview tips, general or specific to this training company?

A bit last minute I know, but hey you know how it is!

    Cheers

    Hello and welcome!

First, read The Big Interview Tips Thread.

Next, scour the forums for all you can. Read up on Chiltern, and on their sponsors: Trinity House, All Leisure, MEF and Maritime London.

I'm sure someone with experience of the company will be along at some stage, but that should get you started given how soon your interview is! If we can answer anything else, let us know!

Hi. I was sponsored by Trinity House and the training was administered by Chiltern Maritime. Do you know which sponsor you're interviewing for?

On the phone she mentioned both Trinity House and London Maritime, but not a specific one allocated to me. How have you found Trinity House? And also what companies have you sailed with as the info they have online doesn't specifically say which companies they are linked with just so I can have an insight. Have read up on Trinity website but obviously first hand info is even better!

        Cheers

well I set up a Trinity House thread not so long ago.

Well as a sponsor they are hands off and all the day to day contact is with Chiltern Maritime. I don't think Chiltern are any better or worse than the other training companies.
