Hello I`m Jerry from London,studing celestial navigation (among other things). Mainly into sailing vessels now,previously worked on various rustbucket tugs, ferries and trawlers,looking forward to reading this site,which I have just found by chance googling `d` and `v` corrections for the moon.

Hello size,4 engine room on the likes of Polar M types,probably museum pieces now,also Ruston and Hornsby VGB XM`s,(definitely museum pieces as there is one in the GY Fishing Heritage Centre),gearboxes made by Modern Wheel Drive (in Slough!) or more Reintjes,110v DC dynamos such as Crompton Parkinsons,Frankenstein-type open switchboards, you get the drift! This is is a fascinating forum although I in no way qualify as a "cadet", I`m doing yacht deliveries,am RYA yachtmaster etc,no longer have ENG1 unfortunately. All the best Jerry
