My advice is go to your nearest crewing office and ask them about cadet positions as you're highly unlikely to find employment from the folks on here as quite a number of them are cadets. I don't know of any in Slovenia, but there are several nearby in Zagreb and Split.

Yes, I got that from the name of the page. I meant that I was merely looking for information on how to properly write a CV and all the procedures that go along with it.

There is Splošna Plovba but they got acquired by another company and started selling their ships, and cutting salaries in half. So it is a dubious affair, and I heard that the current owner acquires companies and then closes them. My father used to work as superintendent for a Swiss firm for 12 years, so I'll try there first and then move along. But I don't really know how father-son stuff is treated in these situations. In any case I'm trying to knock on as many doors as possible and see which ones open.
