  • Hello/Help

    Hi folks!

Looks like a great website and I am hoping it can answer all my questions! I am really interested in speaking to anyone who didn't have higher grades. Mine are all standard grade level with maths and physics at 3. So it would be nice to hear from anyone that managed to get onto the HNC course with similar grades.

    Many Thanks,

    Sea-Dog

What do your crazy Scottish qualifications translate to in English? There's a few Scottish guys on my HND course at Warsash.

I had Higher Grades and degree but just thought I would give a quick post in reply.

Clyde Marine Training are currently asking for 5 Standard grades at level 3 or above including English,Maths and a science based subject. As I am sure you can appreciate the competition for a cadetship is very high now and they have more and more people applying with qualifications above the minimum required. You need to make yourself stand out from the crowd. Good luck, I believe there is less competition for an Engineering cadetship...............
