Well a couple of years ago CMA CGM were paying Indian cadets $200, might have changed since then but I'm not sure.

The Indian system works differently to the UK system. There they do all the education first and then go and get the sea time in. It's a real pain in the arse for their engineering cadets though as they have to count in "propelling time". So even if you have been in drydock for two weeks (which is good for an engineering cadet) it can be considered wasted time for them as they would have no propelling time.

However, in answer to the OP's question, the last CBA for Indian cadets that I saw was the pay was $400 per month. That was with Bibby's Crewing Agents so I don't know if it applies to you guys, but after speaking with several colleagues from India who went through the Indian System it seems to be an industry standard for them.
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....

Whilst this is interesting, AFAICT the OP is an Indian working towards a British CoC.

And? It was just a general piece of information about the Indian system. I answered the OP's question below that...

That isn't hugely different for British cadets having to work out watch keeping days tho.

The cadets with CMA CGM at the moment that I know are on roughly ?400 per month.

No offence Abhutjeet, but most cadets here won't know what the payscale for Indian cadets are. Normally, Indian cadets earn around $300-500 USD per month, depending on the type of ship they're on.

If it's sea-time you're looking for, get your arse down to Bibby's or ASP and they'll sort you out.
