Hi all,
After perusing the site for a few months and finally joining the other day, I thought it best to introduce myself.
My name is Dan, I'm 30 years young and am seriously considering leaving the MOD (as a project manager) after 14 yrs, basically my promotion opportunities are running dry and as you may well have noticed on the news the current government are cutting back on us scummy civil servants!!!
So I am looking for a new career, having always loved the sea and have a geeky interest in ships and their navigation - the MN seems like a good career to explore.
Please be warned I have many many questions, so feel free to mock at my newbie questions. However I'll endeavour to search the forums before posting questions.....
