hello everyone im john ...im frm india...from the state called as "god's own country" kerala
my dad was a shippie so was his predicissor a navy comodore
im now working as deck cadet in TOLANI SHIPPING just finished 7 months on my first vessel
im aspriring to join a cruise oneday but it seems pretty difficult for an indian to join
anyone who as anyclue on this please PM me

can you please inform is it possible to join as cadet after pre sea with interviews and not through agencies .........as i completed dns from a private instt eurotech maritime academy

Indian nationals are employed as Officers on some cruise lines, including the various brands of the major umbrella companies such as Carnival Corp/RCCL, although it's probably against some tough competition. High grades, good quality experience, high levels of competance and a fluent command of the English language would most likely be the prerequesites.
