hey I have actually found it pretty difficult, not so much the interviews etc but travelling for them. I live in the Highlands and in the middle of nowhere so getting about is a nightmare. I have my AIB on the 25th and been trying to cram in as much info as possible but Im just not sure what to learn about. I know I have to learn about the 3 different services but it would take me a year to learn everything about them. Just wish I had the questions! lol

Hey Marcus, Did someone local to mallaig do the courses? Yeh its a nice little place, but can get boring when you live here. Great being brought up around the fishing and the boats though. We have had a great beginning to the summer with whales and dophins in there hundreds near the harbour. It's been such a good tourist attraction. I work on the local ferry from Mallaig and they love to play with the ship. x

Yeh that sounds about right, mo and Michael were my routers last year for my maritime skills course. Stan I know but he isn't teaching anymore. Yeh the central has been taken over and is now called the "steam inn", we still call it the central though. And the marine bar is still the same. Lol x

If you haven't already, make sure you do a search on this site for 'RFAIB' and you'll get some past experiences. Also some of the posts on this topic: http://www.officercadet.com/showthre...nterview/page2

                          Good luck!
