  • Considering RFA application

I am really considering applying to join the RFA. Any advice and/or experience on what training and life is like in the Royal Fleet Auxillary.

One of our RFA members will soon enough come along and help I'm sure!

In the mean time, have a look here:

    http://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/Careers/...leet-Auxiliary

Full of information about life as a cadet and general information on working with the Royal Fleet.

Not as good as it used to be, but still better than all the rest.

        Any slightly more specific questions?

Rather than just thinking about it, why not just apply and see for yourself? They don't hold a gun to your head (at least not to my head) and you have to get through the damned AIB first!

They substitute when I am otherwise engaged. If the taste wasn't consistent you'd soon cotton on.
