i'm wondering, what are the chances of swapping your sponsor company ?? is it next to nothing ? and how would you go about doing it?

As far as I am aware it is very unheard of. The only time I have heard of it is when a cadets sponsoring company went into admin and Clyde assigned him a different company.

Who are you currently sponsored by? If you are not a liberty to state, then are you with a training agency or a shipping company.

I've seen it happen, but this was before the cuts started and they had genuine grievances with their original training company but it is rare to happen.

Depends on why you would want to change them in the first place?

I know one guy who swapped from a North Sea company to a Deep Sea one. No idea how he went about it exactly though and he caused the Deep Sea company (mine) quite a few issues so I'd imagine he's semi-ruined it for everyone. One guy in my class also had to swap companies since his first went into administration just as the sea phase started. Both cases were with SSTG.
