Nice one mate! I passed in Dec and am still hunting for the elusive first trip! AncientMariner started a great thread on that subject a while back, it's here.. http://www.officercadet.com/showthre...a-Deck-Officer Best of luck and let us know how it goes!

PS. Do your company have any jobs going?!

Thanks guys. That post was really useful. I've already asked my company if they have any jobs going for friends of mine from college and unfortunately they don't have anything available at the moment. Five people in my class, who passed there oral's in December, never had job offer's from there sponsoring companies. So far two of them have found work.

I'm sure it'll all work out S4, apparently there's loads of jobs ashore as well, so surely its just a matter of time until everyone moves back to dry land...

Desperately short of engineers by the look of all the jobs pages I have been on! Junior Deckies, unless you have a DP ticket, appear to quite well stocked. :P
