    Greetings

    Hi all, I'm due to start my Cadet training at the NMCI in county Cork in a couple of weeks. In researching careers at sea I came across this site and have found it an excellent source of info on what the cadet training entails. Alot of the things Iv read on here have put any niggling fears or doubts I had about joining the merchant navy to bed, so thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences.
