Hi all im chris, been looking at the forum now for a while finding lots of info on the first sea phase & what to expect so i thought i better sign up.
Ive just left my trade in the shipyards of electrical engineer (test & commissioning) and joined Maersk as a engine cadet "sept 10" at south tyneside. thot if im enjoying this i may aswell get the mechanical side aswelll n see a tiny part of the world in the process.
What position tends to have the greater workload onboard, eto/engine? do u have to stick to 1 or the other or can you end up doing both in the end?
cheerz, hope to be accepted into the community n speek soon.
