Hello there everyone.
I'm Matt, that's me in my avatar pic, I am currently a 3rd Engineer, I have joined the website by recommendation of one of my former colleagues I keep in touch with. I am a young officer who is always willing to help those who genuinely want some guidance or help with their cadetship, if you put in the effort yourself, its an amazing career!
I studied at Warsash Maritime Academy from 2006 to 2009, I have been on Bulk Carrier, Cruiseship, Fishery Patrol, Logistics and Survey vessels. I am most experienced with Meduim Speed 4-stroke Engines, and a lot of time spent with all sorts of wonderful (and frustrating to repair) Auxiliaries of course. I also have helped a couple of newly qualified Deck Officers with their Deck Planned Maintenance.
Not sure what else to write, feel free to ask any questions about my career, or Engineering or Deck Maintenance.
