  • Officer Cadet Charity Auction!

    Alright all!

We have been in touch with David "Windy" Baboulene, the author of the fantastic book "Ocean Boulevard" and "Jumping Ships" and he has very kindly offered to donate a signed copy of his book "Ocean's Boulevard" for us to auction off for charity! That charity will be Seafarers UK again and the auction will be conducted the same way as last time.

Bids will be accepted from the 23rd June with the auction closing on the 27th June at 1900. This is a fantastic book and one no cadet, officer or parent should be without! So, check your bank balances, pay day date or wink at your better half or parent and get ready to bid!
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....

Is there a method of bidding for those away with possibly no internet?

Both books are brilliant readsl. The Chief Engineer I just sailed with was also a Bank Line cadet around about the same time as the author.
Former TH cadet with experience of cruise ships, buoy tenders, research ships and oil tankers

Can I start the bidding off at 10 pounds?

Pretty sure you just said the words pounds and forty, but necessarily in that order...
