I am a student of navigation from Poland and I am looking for apprentinceship as a deck cadet. My situation looks like this : At the Polish Navy science is 4 years. Two years of science I have already counted. 3 years is 12 months of apprenticeship but my academy doesn't have signed contracts with shipowners. I am looking for something on my own but for woman hard to find.

There are several manning agents around that region. ASP is a good one based within the Ukraine (or it was last I checked). Try speaking to them and see what they can get you.

My advice, don't ask the ship owners, go to the manning agents as they will be in the best position to help you out.
