Hi,

Well to start with, tron (formerly something else and '000') you pm'ed me to ask if I had signed up twice. No I haven't? And I can't see two kayaks?
I would have replied by PM, but permissions seemed to refuse to allow me to PM...

And suggestion... switch to MyBB :P Ok I don't honestly think its a good idea to do so now, but just wanted to point out that I think its better

Hi,

I think there's some setting that people have to do three posts before they can send a PM - I'll change that. Thanks.

We are discussing other forum software as part of ways of integrating the wiki with the forum in a nice user-friendly portal.
I quite like SMF and Phorum myself, but I think it'd be a good thing to start a thread on it and involve everyone in it.
Check out http://www.forummatrix.org/ for comparisons of features.

In the meantime, we just need to get as many people to join as possible, it should be no problem to migrate to a bigger better site once it's ready.

I think the "other kayak" is now called "Bruce"... maybe it was a glitch on my browser!
I'm sticking with Tron, as it's less confusing, unlikely to offend, and short.

Since you changed the forum software the font size has got tiny. Is there a way to make it bigger without changing my browser settings?

Well, whoever did it. It's tiny on my 15" laptop monitor at 1280x800. I may not have 20/20 vision but it's within allowable limits not to have "not suitable for lookout duties" ticked on my ENG1.

The very top of the page is fine, but everything below "Board index ? Forum Administration ? Support and Suggestions" is a bit small, and the text of posts is pretty tiny, looks equivalent to 8pt. on my settings.

Internut Exploder, medium text size, no zoom. Your text size is 10pt. on my screen.

Hmmm I'm perplexed because it's OK for me in IE, FF and Chrome. Grr darn websites, more trouble than they're worth.

Have reverted to previous style to hopefully end that issue. Can play about with it a bit more over the next few days.

It's much more readable for me like this, the text is back to about 10pt.

I am currently looking into this issue, although the sizes are set from 10pt to 12pt..

Also the PUB section is still that theme, so would be good to have feedback in that section.
