Does anyone know why if you make a post in the Qualified Officers section it doesn't appear in the New post and New Threads box at the right hand side of the page?

Why limit these features to cadet posts only, the site should be Officersandcadets.com lol. That case it would have a wider appeal as there is a gap in the market for a forum for qualified officers as this one seems to be aimed at cadets.

It's most likely a fault. I'm sure one of our lovely administrators will be along to explain shortly....

Bout time you were one - seem to have far too much time on your hands! lol

On another point - how come you get a nice blue "Article writer" and I don't. I have written an article as well!

      It's not fair!

AND STOP PICKING YOUR NOSE AND EATING IT - it's disgusting!

Now that gave me the laugh I needed - Thank you.

I thought we only did it on the night watches when you lot are all tucked up in bed, as you can't read and ships are dry nowadays - so who told you?

            Howdy all,

I'll have a look at the new posts/thread jobby soon. Hatchorder, I'll give you a shiny title soon too.

We've tried to move away from being *just* aimed at cadets with our new branding, though we're a little bit stuck with the name we have. It's also much more difficult to get the word out to qualified officers unfortunately. Ideas most welcome of course!

Hello! I'm Chris. I'm away a lot so I'm sorry if it takes me a while to reply to messages, but I promise I'll get back to everyone. If it's urgent, please email me directly at [email protected].

              Ahhh. Thank you.

Whilst you are at it can I recommend that you make Guinessman a Mod and give him a nice new shiny badge. He has too much time on his hands and we would all love to see him contribute more.. It might also stop him picking his nose.

                I aim to please...

Tucked up in bed? Ive never been on one of those pansy UMS ships! Although that was mainly because it was either impracticable due to design or the UMS was bust and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, so we did get the odd call to the bridge where we would find the deckies furiously "cleaning" the windows....

So what was wrong with using your normal approach, hitting it with the FBH (F***ing Big Hammer) and then standing round wiping your hands on rags and tutting before adding it to the next dry dock list?

Would have damaged the console and then where would we have put the kettle huh?

Are you telling me there was no room on the little table with the pile of porn mags, comics and your box of crayons on in the corner of the control room for the kettle?

Nah, we don't to run the risk of damaging the colouring in books...
