  • PLEASE READ! Potential Malware!

    Hi All,

I know this isn't posted in the appropriate location so please feel free to relocate/delete the thread after this has been resolved.

My browser (Google Chrome) is blocking access to every thread on the site. I can view other areas of the site as well as the forum menus but Chrome stops me accessing threads. Quite often this can be triggered by something harmless. However, I clicked the 'more info' link and Google produced this:

What is the current listing status for www.officercadet.com/showthread.php?
Site is listed as suspicious - visiting this website may harm your computer.
Part of this site was listed for suspicious activity 6 time(s) over the past 90 days.
What happened when Google visited this site?
Of the 140 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 79 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2012-04-16, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2012-04-16.Malicious software includes 181 exploit(s).
Malicious software is hosted on 1 domain(s), including lephante.ch/.
This site was hosted on 2 network(s) including AS31708 (COREIX), AS15169 (Google Internet Backbone).

Not wishing to be alarmist and this may all be nonsense but...well yeah I have no idea. Hope the site is secure.

    Thanks

    Hi Adam,

Thanks for brining this to our attention.

Please rest assured that the site is secure. This was an on-going problem for a while which TheH found a solution to yesterday. Please see: http://www.officercadet.com/showthre...6787#post46787

Don't be concerned about the warnings popping up, it will take a while for google to update their list and take our warnings off.

    To boldly go.....
