    hair length for college and cruise companies

    i guess im just curious to what is the excepted hair length for deck cadets and officers at warsash and with cruise companies like carnival uk, ive read something like "above the collar" but i feel as if im cheating as my hair is quite thick and lies on my eyebrow at the front and my fringe covers most of my forehead, but is shorter at the back, being above the collar.

    im not exactly going to cry if i had to have my hair cut shorter, its a worthy sacrifice for a worthy career, yet i was just wondering if any of you guys could give some accuracy to what length is exceptable?
