Applied to Companies Last Year......... Progress so far in 2014 feedback?

Hi all current and prospective Cadets

I applied to various, well many... companies at the end of last year and secured a few interviews, failed one of them.....didnt mind, It gave me practice for the second one which I managed to pass but there were no places for the January intake.

My question is this.......has anyone who applied last year, had an interview already and been accepted for a place at a college already for Sept 2014 or is this still a waiting game?

When generally do the shipping companies or SSTG start to process interviews for the forthcoming year entry?

Hi,

I applied in December 2013 and was lucky enough to get an interview in January. However there were no places at my preferred college for the Jan/Feb intake. They said I would be kept in consideration for September 2014. Around 2 weeks after I got confirmation that I would be starting in September.
