Why don?t you all get yourself a couple of ?special massage?DVDs from the ship?s library/ computer/ welfare hard drive whatever.. and then get yourself down to the engine/ deck workshop along with a couple of pignut?s so called ?third world seafarers?, I?m sure you?ll all figure it out eventually... the lengths men at sea will go to is pretty sad, which pretty much sums up this whole topic. What would we do in the workshop? Install bolitas?

Its not easy to find an understanding partner who accepts your time away at sea, and I think its a lot harder for the females at sea to find someone who understands and embraces the unusual lifestyle.
I'd say I'm lucky with my wife, but we still have plenty of challenges when I'm away. Like dragging my wife and kids out to the Middle East, then a few weeks later I dissapeared off to Europe for 5 months... That didn't go down to well.

Anywho, same here. Never cheated, was cheated on, was told on telephone, she got all shouty from my lack of caring (it was 0400 for me and I was about half-way through a double watch) and then I went back down the Engine room and cracked on and have never looked back...

Can't stand those that cheat on their partners....

Going on what someone said about cruise ships, is it not frowned upon for cruise ship officers to take people back to their cabin or go to their cabin?

Unless you enjoy dole queue's, do not diddle with the passies!

Crew, provided they are up for it and agree, are fair game!
