S4 is here. Feeling.......... delicate... turns out that yesterday wasn't a hangover, it was a rather nasty d&v bug probably picked up from one of the boy's clients (he's a carer).

Anyway. Yep... *puts Mod hat on*

Honestly, you'd think that yellow box at the top was purely decorative or something.

The p&o cruises etos I chatted to reckoned Royal Carribean paid the most for cruise ship eto
s but the big money is obviously yachts and offshore.

maybe for some people publicly announcing salary can feel like a big d*** contest. I'm sure a mod will be along soon to move it if appropriate.

hmm, where has S4 got to?

What I meant was, it's not exactly a sensitive question so it's not really appropriate for this part of the forum is it?

Guest started a topic Salaries and stuff!

    Salaries and stuff!

Hi folks, I'm interested in becoming an eto cadet and was wondering if anyone knew what the typical salaries are for qualified etos through to chief etos with Carnival, P&O or Princess? How do these companies compare with other cruise companies? Are there any advantages to being with a UK based company over say Holland America or Royal Caribbean?

I've heard that you get less pay on cruise ships and it's harder to get promoted, is that true? or just vicious rumours?! Also if I went down the cruise route would be harder to move to 'working' ships in the future if I wanted to?

    Any help much appreciated Thanks
