  • getting visa

so i ll be applying for the crewman visa soon and i am not sure if i ll be able to get it because i ve been to usa before with a student visa(now expired) and one time i was caught without a ticket or monthly passin the trolley. they told me to go to the traffic court and gave me a ticket which you either pay or w8 for the trial. i payed the fine and was done with that.

will this be a problem when i apply for a visa? and if i remember right one of the applications questions is if you have commited a felony, does that count as a felony?or it is called something else?

I normally don't comment on the standard of English used in posts, but what you have written above is actually very difficult to understand, but from what I can get you were caught fare dodging on public transport, right? I am pretty sure that they class that as a misdemeanour, rather than a felony and I doubt that it will be a problem so long as you paid the fine.

I suggest that if you want any further help, then you edit your post.
    Go out, do stuff

agree with Clanky - however if you have convictions in the USA u will struggle to get a C1/D1 visa. If you have convictions in the UK even if its drink dirving or something the US Embassy still want all the paper work on that - so yeah id say ull struggle - only one way to find out though, apply and see or pick up the phone and ring them

Seconded. Not to go into "lynch mob" mode here, but what secondary school are you a product of? You need to write to them, and tell them that they have failed you. Actually...don't bother; they probably won't understand it.

A forum is not a text message to your pal.

given the IP address appears to be greek I am assuming the gentleman is not a native english speaker, therefore some tolerance and patience might be a good thing for us to practice.

For those yet to go to sea, get used to a level of english which makes text speak look, sound and seem like Shakespere ;-)

            Well, I don't have access to people's IP's- so can't assume anything.

Maybe if I was posting on a forum, in a language alien to me, I would introduce myself as not being a native speaker of the language. Then people might be a bit more lenient.

You can't blame people for jumping on people with poor grammar; in this day and age; what with spell checkers and the like- it's just lazy (in other cases).
