Any advice/input welcome for my Phase 2 (Sea) from Cadets with Cargo Ship experience of working with Skipper & Crew from Ukraine plus? ..Survival Do's & Don'ts Please!

I don't have experience of working with Ukrainian people but I've known a few so here is my
opinion.

Don't mention the war!!!

or rather.. don't discuss Nuclear power...

No but honestly, at the end of the day it's all down to the individuals rather than their nationality.
You will see how they are when you get there.. some are overly hierarchic and some are more relaxed, some
are complete arses and some are not and that goes for all nationalities. You know why you are there, be humble,
be polite and show them the respect they deserve.

most of the officers and crew are lativian on this ship while it sucks in the mess as they will be sitting watching russian tv i havent had any bother with them, they are polite and friendly and do involve me i do find a decent book and some dvd's helpful to pass the time when im not working helps though
