Hi does anyone know if SSTG pay for accomodation while at sea? and if not where to get accomodation in liverpool because the University will only do a 42 week contract. no good with going to sea :/

Hi, i've just finished my 4 years BSc at JMU and 3 of my friends where sponsored by SSTG, as far as i know they did pay for their accommodation. i stayed at home as im from liverpool.
the best thing would be to ring and ask them or email. All of my mates got that 42 weeks contract, This wasn't a problem for them because from September - May (approx 30 weeks) they were in uni, then went to sea. and this was the same in year 2. i'm not sure but halls is very cheap and also very fun!! living in halls your also elgiable for housing loans, i know this is undesirable but you will be in much less debt than most students!
HOWEVER, in uni you can only stay in halls of residence for years 1 and 2 in year 3 your by yourself. by this time they all my mates had friends and got house shares. all my mates loved liverpool that much there now all looking at buying houses up here and also rent flats here full time.
oh and by the way, all the nautical science boys are housed in a place called 'Agnes Jones house' on Catherine street Liverpool, a short crawl away from lots of totally awesome and unforgettable drinking establishments =]
