Yes I work for the big blue canoe company.
No I do not report things from here to them as they are quite able to come and read this stuff for themselves.

        Don't be mean Chiefy.

Although, the OP should take note that it took me a mere two or three clicks per search to get to these..

The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Ok it was a little mean but if you can find this site to ask about companies, then how is it not possible to find out about the companies, oh and our own search would also show up most of the info.

On the plus side Google is alive, all praise google

Maersk run all various types of vessels. as a cadet you will be put mainly on container vessels with maybe one or two trips on a tanker. its very rare for a cadet to be placed on the supply ships but it can happen (divine intervention).

two of my friends where with bibby line, they normally pass you round to different companies or keep you with one e.g. andrew weir. my friends where on numerous vessels ranging from MOD contracted ships, worldwide general cargo tramping and also CMA CGM. however at the end of their cadetship they were let go.

As for Shell, I don't know anyone who has been with them but i can hazard a guess that there mainly tankers, they may own smaller companies specialising in in different aspects of shipping, but i don't know. if your looking for a company to sponsor you i would pick either Maersk of Shell, i wouldn't really recommend bibby.

As our fella salty seafarers have said, google it!!! Take your time though if you are looking for a sponsor company, you may end up building a career with one of these companies like i have, oh and one more thing. . . . . .GOOD LUCK =]
