can navigating officers holding Indian CDC or of being Indian origin apply for cruise ship jobs ,,,cose iv heard that ur skin color matters for this kind of a job,,,

Skin colour has absolutely no bearing, on the cruise ships I sailed with Indian officers. It's all about competence and ability.

While skin colour and race doesn't matter (or shouldn't) there are a lot of companies that choose their officers from a certain country pool. This is due to passengers preference etc. For example, a prominent British cruise line (i work for them so won't name them) has a preference for British officers for the social events onboard. HOWEVER, while the majority may be from a certain area there are a lot of other nationalities onboard. I think the major thing they look for is that you are good at your job and you can speak and understand the ships working language.

As far as applying, just apply directly to companies you can think of. There are a lot of them out there. I see you having no problem getting and keeping a job on a cruise ship.

Skin colour makes absolutely no difference.
For some companies you may be required to obtain a CEC (Certificate of Equivalent Competency) before they will let you serve on their ships
