  • Dropping out and references

Hi , does anyone know if I dropped out would I be able to get a reference from the uni I was at as a reference for a new ucas university application?

Have you tried asking your universities student services? Nothing wrong with asking for more information when trying to make an informed decision. If you're worried about word getting round to your tutors etc you should be able to talk to them in confidence.

Yes, shouldn't be a problem. References that Universities give out (and most companies for that matter) do little more than confirm where you were and what you were doing. ie ~ "XXXX studied XXXX from 2015 to 2017 before withdrawing from the course"

No specifics about why or how you left.
