Just wondered if everyone with SSTG has a sponcer already for Deck Sept 11?

Is anybody still waiting?

Had my interview yesterday and passed it, waiting to see if four of the member companies are needing deck officers cadets so that i can be sponsored by one of them. If none come through then i have to wait till next intake in january, will have to wait and see

Tim and chance you could let on which companies are still available? I had a place last year and due to unforeseen circumstances couldn't take it up and just wondering if it's worth contacting them about this years intake or just waiting until next year.

Thanks Tim. I had a place with OOCL and have heard good things about them from current cadets etc so it would be with them that I would be looking for a place again. I guess it will have to be 2012 then or a drop-out for 2011 but I bet they already have a reserve list for that.

I was wanting to get a place with OOCL too. There was a place available the day i did my interview however the candidate who steve offered it too accepted that night. I was gutted. Yeah there is a reserve list, there are only 3 people on it including me. Contact steve, there is still a good chance you'll get a place with them either this year or next year
