forum registration?

Hello everyone,

After looking around the forums for a while I decided to try to register but could not find a registration button or link. Knowing that this was a phpBB forum I typed in the normal registration page url for phpBB ( ucp.php?mode=register) - but I got a message saying registrations are now closed (or something to that effect).

Can someone tell me why I can't register here? I really want to take part in discussions as I have just began my application process with various companies out there.
