    CMA CGM Uniform

    Hey Guys

    I'm just wondering if anyone who is currently a cadet for CMA CGM could tell me if CMA CGM provide you with uniform, such as braded boilersuits or pilot shirts. I see that Maersk have their own shirts and boiler suits that are worn onbored by cadets/officers ect, does CMA CGM do the same, or do you have to buy plain shirts and boiler suits?

    Any other information on beign a CMA CGM deck cadet would be great as well, as I hope to apply in the next 2-3 years

    i know a few CMA lads and there uniform is paid for i think they got all there stuff from SM Bass . its non loged. SSTG tie and usual nato jumper white shirt . although i have not seen them in boiler suits yet.

      the system seems to be that you pay for the college phase uniform and claim back the ?100 from SSTG and then the sponsoring company provides you with the sea phase uniform and PPE.

        indeed for SOME sstg companies i think CMA is different

          I am a current CMA CGM cadet.

          SSTG provide you with a list of uniform needed by CMA CGM and you order that with your own money. It comes to a lot of money. Then once you recieve it you claim it ALL back. CMA CGM pay for the whole uniform.

          It is the 2pce suite
          Boots
          Cap
          shirts
          nato jumper
          boiler suits etc.

          Its a very big uniform compared to others
