    Please take part in my questionnaire and win prizes!

    Hello All!

    Right, I need your help! I want YOU to fill out this questionnaire for me as it would help towards my dissertation project – and there are prizes up for grabs!

    Please answer all questions with honesty. The questionnaire is aimed at anyone who has used checklists on board a Merchant vessel.

    In order for a chance to win a ?10 Amazon gift certificate (2 gift certificates are up for grabs!) please enter your Officercadet.com username or any other form of identification you wish to provide in the allocated box provided at the end of the questionnaire.

    All names will be placed in a hat, from which the winners will be randomly selected. As to when this will be done, probably when I get back from my sea phase.

    If you have any important questions, please ask me!

    Annoyingly, I am obliged to advise you to read the important legal information before you take part.

    I know, not many people want to read it and it is a pain, but it must be done.

This is a research project being conducted by Lewis Scott at the University of Plymouth. You are invited to participate in this research project because you will have most likely used checklists.

            Excellent, I know you have to be careful with the data in terms of data protection, but will you be able to give a summary of responses here when it's all done, it would be very interesting to hear peoples' views on some of the questions that you have asked.

              Of course! I shall submit the results after the project has been evaluated.

              There is one question that is producing unexpected results (in my opinion). This will be 'calibrated' when I get on my next ship through tests. There are so many contributing factors for this, but I really think it is down to honesty.

              After every post it keeps going up - its up to 63 now.

                    Thank you to all who have participated so far! I have had 87 participants to this point!

                    If I could have just a few more, I would greatly appreciate it! My target is 100. Plus I will be able to dish out the prizes!

                              Do share (if it involves embarrassing photo's, then definitely share!)....
                              I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....
