Hello Everyone!
This month the IMO are promoting day of the Seafarer. We have been asked to help by using social media to spread the word. How many of you have had to suffer conversations with friends or family who assume that you're in the Royal Navy, or that most of the goods we use come in by air, or any of the other utterly inane comments that people make about our job?
So, all they are asking that we do is, using facebook, twitter, blogs etc, on the 25th June, post about something that you own, that came in by sea, that you can't live without, and ask your friends to do the same.
Have a look at this for more details. http://www.imo.org/About/Events/dayo...lkit_final.pdf
