  • Quest TV: 5 Mighty Ship episodes back to back

    Whilst I think this series does some good for the Merchant Navy, it is annoying how it spends half the episode repeating and repeating and repeating itself again and again and again (get the picture). It seems to underestimate its audience and doesn't go into as much depth as it could.

      Maybe its made for yanks; It's a ship, its a ship, it's a ship, it's a ship, it's a ship, it's a ship = "hey gee, I guess thats a ship"

        well quest tv is basically the free to air version of discovery channel, so the programmes have to appeal to the american discovery audience,

        But you get to see a good range of ships, so I'm a happy viewer

          I think last time I watched it on the credits at the end it said something about Transport Canada and had a Canadian production team.

          Some episodes are better that others imo. The Faust and Emma Maersk ones are probably the best. Also quite interesting but still a bit "made for TV" is the OOCL Atlanta one. Not sure if posting links is allowed here so search for "veoh oocl atlanta"

              Well in that case......http://www.veoh.com/watch/v18669712C...+OOCL++ATLANTA

              The captain on the Atlanta sounds a bit scary, though I'm sure he's a wise old hand.
