The MY Final Act(irony? ) suffered a catastrophic fire off Carolina, fortunately no serious casualties. There seems to have been a spate of these recently; the recession causing maintenance work to be delayed/skimped?

yeeeeeeahhhh... skimping on necessary safety systems (door with a porthole to the E/R, watermist system, CO2 system) is not a good thing... lucky for them a passing yacht performed a rescue
