I doubt that allowing weddings has anything do with the flag change, more likely for tax savings and screwing over the junior crew...
What a sad end....I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....

It would be good to see if such a great demand for weddings on-board is evident.
On the other hand with the large number of passengers on some of the vessels, surely the weddings are very public.Comment

the RMS indicates that the ship holds a contract from the royal mail to carry the mail. any ship can be an RMS as long as they have a contract, as far as i know it is a largely symbolic thing for the QM2, mainly as it doesnt just do the liner route across the atlantic and as such would be a bit pants at getting aunt mildreds birthday card to her on time.
they could also just name the ship RMS Queen Mary 2, but that would make her MV RMS Queen MAry 2 which is starting to get a bit long for the sternyou can take it with a pinch of salt, but i prefer it with a nip of whiskyComment
