    Thirty crew members of a Panama-flagged bulk carrier MV Rak Carrier were rescued on Thursday morning from their sinking vessel around 20 nautical miles from Prongs Reef Light House off Mumbai harbour after the Jordanian captain called for assistance around 7 am.


    The Indian Navy and Coastguard seem to have done a decent job in airlifting the crew off the vessel.
