      did you see the number of people on the bridge too? and heli deck...then end is the best where it splits up and re-joins and all those internal cranes and hydraulic sails, going to be a nightmare

          Would have thought that with a reasonably high freeboard they'd be ok - I'm sure they'd make them watertight.

              Wow, there isn't enough Saki in the world to make that make sense. I just had a go at estimating what that will cost to build on my calculator, and I've inadvertently created a singularity; the end of the world is coming shortly.

              Those overhangs are going to be a stability/seakeeping nightmare and will require every container port in the world to move their cranes and where do the solarpanels disappear to to reveal the containers. What's with the container fuel cells? Hoses not good enough for the japs? As for splitting the hull into 4, gas fuel cells, or foldy up sails; the brobdingnagian expense of these will be rivalled only by the gargantuan maintenance overhead to stop it all breaking down and killing everyone. The dancing NYK bibendum character at the end is just disturbing.

                  the fuel cells are lng powered (it does say that) and to be fair I have been thinking that celurised bilges to cause a nil overboard rather than a OWS was the way forward (fuel tanks in reverse of this film)

                  The cells I think are on a roller (like a roller blind)

                    The splinting up bit seems a bit excessive. Containerizing containers where does it end?

                      If they get it all working reliably (bearing in mind its for 2030 alot of advances can be made in 20 years), and forget the idea of it splitting up I think it would be a great ship espeacially for crew we won't have to do alot
